Pregnancy, birth and early parenting are an exciting time and yet can also feel overwhelming.
Many families feel isolated and would love it if they could feel supported and cared for and to be given up to date information on what to expect.
Birth Circle provides that support.

ABBY SIDERY – Facilitator
Abby Sidery is a mother of two young children, Registered Midwife, Registered Nurse and Certified Doula. Having grown up as the daughter of a home birth midwife, birth has always been a passion and never something to be feared.
She has worked in various roles, across multiple settings including Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney’s East and Northern Beaches Hospital, as well as supporting Sheryl Sidery as a second midwife at home births.
Her greatest achievements to date are her babies and her births – a hospital birth with her daughter Bobbie, and a home birth with her son Felix.
Having worked in ‘the system’ and having been on the receiving end, she is in the perfect position to assist you and your partner to navigate the maternity system and emerge from birth prepared and empowered to nurture your baby.

Sheryl has been a midwife for over 30 years. She has worked in a variety of settings from birth centre, delivery suite, to homebirth – from private to public. She has supported over 2000 families.
Sheryl is a mother of 4 awesome adults and is Mim to her grandchildren.
She teaches midwifery at University.
She has an upbeat, fun way of working with families and is passionate about helping to instill the confidence you will need to navigate the system.
She genuinely wants you to have a great birth and a joyous transition to becoming parents, to enjoy your baby and emerge feeling confident and strong.
