Nowadays, birth is often a highly medicalised event where the mother is made to feel like a patient requiring treatment and in need of instruction rather than a woman being supported to do what comes naturally...giving birth to her baby.  Everybody has an opinion and a story and sometimes it can be difficult to find your way to create the perfect birth for you and your baby.

Having a doula or birth attendant  allows you to have someone that you and your partner know and trust; whose priority is your well being and whose experience will enhance your memories of this special event and allow you to create the birth experience you will cherish.
